Blue Jays News
Game Sevens are special things. This is just the second Game Seven in Jays history . There is some news from the Jays: * Bo Bichette has made “significant progress” lately. I hope that means he’ll be ready for the World Series.
* Jose Berrios is throwing . * George Springer tells us that at this time of year “Nobody on the field is playing 100%. It’s not just you. At the end of the day, I don’t think that anybody cares… I have a job to do, I expect to go do it.” And that’s really the way it is. He’s gotta play and play like he isn’t hurting. * The team says that Kevin Gausman and Max Scherzer are available tonight. It is Game Seven, everyone is available. As Pat Hentgen said, Game Seven is Johnny Wholestaff. All the relievers are available, even with Hoffman throwing two innings yesterday, he could go today. I’d guess that Trey Yesavage is the only one who wouldn’t be available today. * Vlad came to the ballpark look wearing a Auston Matthews jersey. He does know that the Leafs haven’t won in my lifetime, right? Just kidding, nice to see really. Tonight’s lineups. No changes for the Jays. GO Jays Go. Just win.
