Then around 5:30 p.m., police were called to the residence a third time for a complaint that Ellis uttered a death threat to her neighbour. This time, Ellis was arrested and charged. The impaired driving offences occurred on Oct. 2. At around 9:50 a.m., the RCMP received a complaint from utility workers in Cornwall suspecting Ellis of drunk driving when she brought them coffee that morning and the previous night.
