" Speaking to a delegation of elders from NA-97 constituency, Humayun Akhtar criticised India's hasty and unilateral moves following the Pahalgam incident, stressing that accusations without proper investigation have raised serious questions about India’s true motives. "There is a real fear that such irresponsible behaviour could deliver a severe blow to peace and stability across the region," he warned. He further pointed out that internationally guaranteed agreements like the Indus Waters Treaty cannot simply be suspended on a whim, branding India's move as reckless and self-destructive. Humayun Akhtar Khan assured us that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any adventure and emphasised that the entire Pakistani nation stands united behind its defenders. In the meeting, he also updated the delegation on his ongoing efforts to promote development projects within his constituency, pledging to continue working tirelessly for the progress and betterment of the area.
