Charlottetown closes out the pre-season with a home contest against the Wildcats at MacLauchlan Arena on Sept. 17 at 2 p.m.
Etienne Morin, Alex Mercier and Charles Beaudoin scored for the Wildcats , who outshot the Islanders 33-22.The Islanders open the regular season on the road against the Halifax Mooseheads on Sept. 23, and the teams return to Eastlink Centre for Charlottetown’s home opener Sept. 24 at 7 p.m.
