Hi, I’m back. I’m sure you didn’t miss me. Tom_M did a great job while I was gone. We had a great holiday. We had super weather , met some relatives and some friends, and made some new friends. Thankfully, we managed to stay away from the rioting. We got to tour St. James Park, home of Newcastle United . We enjoyed the tour. The interesting part, as a Jays’ fan, was that they had a statue of Alan Shearer out front.
I don’t recognize several of the players on the roster . The team went 13-12, which is not so bad considering the bullpen is held together with chewing gum. Some fun things: There are bits of news: Also the Jays say Bo Bichette is ‘progressing well’ though he hasn’t tried any ‘baseball activities’ yet. They feel he should play again this season. He and Jordan Romano are in Toronto to hang out with the team. They think Jordan will throw on a mound before the end of the season.
