It’s always amazing to see the science of our atmosphere at work right in front of us. Kate MacQuarrie found this twig covered in hoar frost in Charlottetown, P.E.I. You’ll likely find hoar frost on clear, calm nights. Kate said a nearby pond with open water was supplying the moisture to allow this amazing phenomenon to occur. Great find, Kate.
