Vancouver Weather: Another summer scorcher

Today’s weather looks sunny and hot, with highs of 26 C and 31 C inland. Environment and Climate Change Canada says that’s going to feel more like 33 C with the humidity, and the UV index is listed at 8, or very high.

Overnight, it looks clear with a low of 18 C before the clouds roll in and then Friday there’s a slight chance of showers, and even a risk of a thunderstorm, with a high of 25 C. Looking ahead to the B.C. Day long weekend, expect plenty of sunshine mixed with clouds. On Saturday, the weather should be sunny with a high of 24 C and then Sunday looks partly cloudy and 24 C. That mix of sun and cloud is expected to continue through the holiday Monday and into next week.
