Toronto Public Health officials are investigating a case of measles and warning travellers on Turkish Airlines Flight TK17 from Istanbul to Toronto on January 22nd, 2023 that they may have been exposed to the highly contagious virus. Officials recommend those potentially exposed monitor for symptoms until February 12th and ensure their vaccination status.
If you were at Pearson Airport last week in Terminal 1, Toronto public health officials say may want to make sure you’ve had your measles vaccine.
They’re warning people may have been exposed to the virus on Wednesday, January 22 on Turkish Airlines Flight TK17 from Istanbul to Toronto that arrived at 5:30 p.m. at Pearson International Airport at Terminal 1.
