Terrace Peaks athletes returned to competition after a five-year hiatus, showcasing their skills at the 2025 Smithers Saltos Invitational in Smithers on February 1. The team of 14, with 13 competing for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, joined gymnasts from clubs like Smithers Saltos, Kitimat Dynamics, and Prince Rupert.

Keira Almas, general manager of Terrace Peaks Gymnastics Club, expressed pride in the athletes' performance, noting their initial nervousness but commending their exceptional execution. Rachel Pare stood out, securing first place in the age 11-12 Xcel Silver group and achieving the highest scores on vault and floor apparatuses. Almas highlighted Pare's talent, suggesting she could excel in a higher category. The invitational featured three categories: Canadian Competitive Program (CCP) 1, Xcel Bronze, and Xcel Silver, with Xcel Silver being the highest. Athletes competed in four artistic apparatuses: vault, bars, beam, and floor. Madelline Loehndorf achieved fourth place in the 14-16 Xcel Silver group, securing third place finishes on bars and floor.
