Fewer than 18 hours after the University of New Brunswick announced MacDougall’s retirement on May 14 as head coach of the men’s hockey program after 24 years, the 64-year-old son of Evelyn and the late Charlie MacDougall of Bedeque, P.E.I., was introduced as the head coach of the Moncton Wildcats, who play in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League .
