SYDNEY, N.S. — A Cape Breton Eagles player has been named to the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League’s rookie all-star team.
Goaltender Jakub Milota received the honour after having a strong rookie campaign between the pipes with an 18-11-1-0 record with a 2.82 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage.The Czechia native also recorded three shutouts on the season and represented his country at the recent IIHF World Under-18 Hockey Championship in Finland.
Other members of the rookie all-star team include Émile Guité , Caleb Desnoyers , Raoul Boilard , Xavier Villeneuve and Alex Huang .
