An SFU staff member reported the missing logo to campus security in mid-January.
If you've noticed the sign welcoming people to SFU's Burnaby Mountain campus is lacking a little colour these days, you're not alone.
A staff member on their way to work in mid-January noticed the logo was missing and reported it to SFU campus public safety who reported it to police, according to a university media relations officer."There have not been any arrests; however, the investigation is ongoing," he said in an emailed statement.

Fake Taxi Scam Targets SFU Students, Two ChargedTwo men are facing charges for allegedly running a fake taxi scam in the Lower Mainland, targeting unsuspecting Good Samaritans, including SFU Burnaby students.
