A 28-year-old man has died after he was shot in Scarborough Saturday night, Toronto police say. Duty Insp. Dan Pravica said at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers were called to a gas station in the area of Warden Avenue and Ellesmere Road for reports of gunshots. Upon arriving, they located a man with gunshot wounds.
The suspects had fired several shots into the victim's car before fleeing the scene, police said in a news release Sunday. Flowers left near a Scarborough gas station where a man was shot and killed Saturday night. Toronto police have identified the victim as Sulakshan Selvasingam, 28, of Pickering.
