Toronto police say a teenager was killed in shooting in Scarborough Saturday.
Homicide investigators are looking for two suspects after a shooting near Glendower Circuit and Birchmount Road.
Toronto police searching for 2 suspects following shooting near Glendower Circuit and Birchmount Road The shooting happened in the area of Glendower Circuit and Birchmount Road shortly before 2 p.m., the Toronto Police Service said in a tweet. A 16-year-old boy transported himself to a local hospital and was located by police suffering from gunshot wounds considered life-threatening injuries, police said. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
In an email to CBC Toronto on Sunday, police spokesperson Cindy Chung said an altercation took place in front of a plaza in the area. Chung said two shooters were involved. Homicide investigators are searching for two suspects. One is described as a Black male, wearing a red hat, red shirt and tan shorts. The other is described as a Black male wearing a black hoodie."This is believed to be a targeted incident," Chung said.
