She has also served as the critic for education and lifelong learning and has been a member of several committees, including the health and social development committee and the public accounts committee. "I’ve also become a huge advocate for Island seniors, particularly those living in public seniors’ housing, who are simply not given the respect and support from the government they need and deserve."
