A big player in British Columbia’s marine and hospitality sector says it has acquired the Oak Bay Marine Group announced the deal Tuesday morning, saying the acquisition includes four Vancouver Island marinas — Oak Bay Marina, North Saanich Marina, Ladysmith Marina and Pedder Bay RV Resorts and Marine, along withGCG owner Graham Clarke said the acquisition means Oak Bay Marine Group’s legacy will be preserved while introducing new opportunities.

Graham Clarke Group owns several high-profile marine businesses that operate in the Lower Mainland including Harbour Cruises, Coal Harbour Marina, Western Pacific Marine and the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre. The current CEO of OBMG said the acquisition aligns with the group’s vision of connecting people with Vancouver Island’s coastal environment.
