He introduced Cosmos foundation models, which generate photorealistic videos for training robots and self-driving cars at a lower cost than traditional methods.
These models create synthetic training data, enabling robots and cars to understand the physical world like large language models help chatbots generate natural language responses. Users can provide Cosmos with text descriptions to generate physics-based videos, reducing the need for costly data collection methods. Cosmos will be available on an open license, similar to Meta Platforms Llama 3 language models, aiming to revolutionize robotics and industrial AI as Llama 3 did for enterprise AI.
