“Invest in Cape Breton,” hosted by Michell Samson, the Cape Breton Partnership's second podcast series challenges listeners on assumptions about the local economy through interviews with local changemakers. Conversations will touch on the Island's potential for investors and entrepreneurs, while offering a preview of the Island's coming transformation."This initiative embodies our excitement and commitment to foster a thriving business environment in Unama'ki — Cape Breton that we welcome the world to become part of,” said Tyler Mattheis, Partnership president and CEO.
In the inaugural episode, Samson explores the local innovation ecosystem with three leaders from tech industries: Chad Munro of Halifax Biomedical, Beth Mason of the Verschuren Centre and Darren Gallop of Carbide. “Many of the stories shared in this podcast are untold or only briefly discussed in other sources," said Samson.
