In the months leading up to the big launch of Barbie and Oppenheimer, box office pundits wondered how two big movies would be able to open on the same day.
Cineplex said more than 60,000 advance tickets were purchased by moviegoers seeing both films, with 65% of those purchasers watching both titles on the same day.
