A week after being introduced as new owner of the Ottawa Senators, Michael Andlauer continued to put his stamp on the club\u0027s front office.

Staios, who left his role as a senior advisor with the Edmonton Oilers after only one season, has a long history with Andlauer. Staios was the president and general manager of Andlauer’s Hamilton Bulldogs from 2016-22, when he took on the post in Edmonton. The Bulldogs won the Ontario Hockey League championship in 2018 and 2022. It’s no surprise that Andlauer would bring in somebody he has had success with and trusts.Article content
