Tickets for SAHF’s March 50/50 draw are on sale now
Donna Mansfield was out skiing with her grandkids on Feb. 28 when the Sault Area Hospital Foundation called to tell her she had the winning ticket.
“There’s a group of us so this is so exciting! We’ve been playing the SAHF 50/50 since the draws started,” she said. Each person has different plans for their winnings but house renovations, paying bills, travelling and sharing with family were top of mind. Splitting the pot five ways, each person will take home $15,788.40, said a news release.

Neebing Fire Rescue Launches 3rd Annual 50/50 Draw to Support New Municipal Office AdditionNeebing Fire Rescue has kicked off the third year of its 50/50 draw, aiming to raise at least $60,000 to support the needs of Neebing Emergency Services. The funds will primarily go towards outfitting the upcoming new addition to the municipal office, which will house the fire department. The association has a long history of supporting the fire department through fundraising, having raised $280,000 worth of equipment over the past 22 years. The 2025 draw will feature four raffles throughout the year, with the first running until March 25th. Residents can also support the association through personal donations and participation in other fundraising initiatives.
