Beachwood police were called to a senior living facility where a woman, 18, who had driven her mother's car to work, reported that the car had been keyed. Moments later, the female suspect showed up in the facility's parking lot and assaulted the woman.
Beachwood police were called to a home where two girls,13 and 14, had been drinking and were intoxicated.At 3:20 p.m. Sept. 19, a Beachwood woman, 67, reported that she had received a call from someone who claimed to be a representative of Huntington Bank. The caller told the woman that there had been fraudulent activity on her account.
The woman did as instructed and made payments of $400 and $300 before learning she had been the victim of a scam.At 12:55 p.m. Sept. 19, police arrested a Macedonia man, 39, for stealing groceries totaling $28.48 from Giant Eagle, 24601 Chagrin Blvd.At 2:30 p.m. Sept. 20, a Cleveland Heights woman, 24, stopped a police officer on a bike while at Beachwood Place mall, 26300 Cedar Road.
After police investigated the two-car crash, officers arrested one of the drivers, a South Euclid man, 40, who was found to be intoxicated.At 4:35 p.m. Sept. 22, a Cleveland woman, 18, an employee of Rose Senior Living, 23611 Harvard Road, reported that while she was at work, another woman damaged her mother’s car in the facility’s lot. The Cleveland woman had driven her mother’s car to work, which had its sides keyed.
Police arrested the Streetsboro woman on charges of assault, disorderly conduct and criminal damaging.At 6:55 p.m. Sept. 23, it was reported that a teenage girl who had been dropped off at a Beachwood friend’s house by her mother, later called her mother to report that her two friends had been drinking and were intoxicated.
