The World Boxing Council world cruiserweight title fight will take place on June 7 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla.

Noel Mikaelyan of Armenia is the current title holder after claiming the belt on Nov. 4, 2023, in a technical knockout victory over Ilunga Junior Makabu in Miami, Fla. He has yet to fight this year and his record stands at 20 wins – 19 of those coming by way of knockout – and one loss.As for the 33-year-old world champion Mikaelyan, he hasn’t been as active as Rozicki in the ring. He’s only had three fights since December 2020 and has a pro record of 27-2-0 with 12 of his victories coming by knockout.

For Broner, it will be his first fight in 52 weeks. His last appearance was his debut on Don King Productions. The former four-division titlist defeated Bill Hutchison in 10 rounds on June 9, 2023, in Miami. He’s won major titles at 130, 135, 140 and 147.
