ISLAMABAD - Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi has lauded the contributions of women judges in ensuring justice, emphasising their growing role in the judiciary . In his message on International Women Judges Day, CJP Afridi stated that the increasing representation of women in Pakistan’s judiciary is a positive development.
He stressed that recognising the contributions of women judges is a collective responsibility. He further highlighted that gender equality and the inclusion of women in the judiciary mark significant progress. “Women judges play a commendable role in delivering justice, ensuring transparency, and strengthening the judicial system,” he said, adding that a more conducive environment will be provided for female lawyers and judges. The Chief Justice reaffirmed the commitment to making justice accessible to all, noting that the perseverance and integrity of women judges serve as a guiding light for future generations.
