STANHOPE, P.E.I. – A young Prince Edward Island golfer recently recorded a feat some players never get to experience in a lifetime.

The same could not be said about Archer’s playing partners. Archer said his uncle, Jeff Walker, and godfather, Ben Murphy, “went crazy” and his great-uncle, Joey Murphy, was just as surprised as he was but more composed. Affleck said as far as he believes, Archer is the youngest golfer to ever record a hole-in-one at the Stanhope course. Affleck’s son, B.J., recorded an ace as a 13-year-old in 2003.

Archer went on to say there are many reasons that attract him to the sport, including the social aspect.
