Across all of my social media feeds, I see people who are worried about whether or not they’ll have a job come the end of all this, if they even stillfor the time being . Some are grappling with home-schooling their children for the first time, endlessly questioning if their efforts are truly “enough.” Some worry about how they’re supposed to keep themselves and their loved ones healthy and safe while quarantining in close quarters.

One of my neighbors is nervous about getting more gray hairs because of the stress. She’s distraught about being unable to visit her salon to “fix the problem.” A friend told me her cycle has been all out of whack since lock-down, even though her period has been totally regular since she started menstruating 15 years ago. Additionally, she’s concerned the shift in her cycle is aggravating her adult acne. And, of course, there are the weight-related worries.
