Sudbury skates all over Barrie in 13-4 victory
The Sudbury Wolves impressed almost 5,000 fans on Friday night in the final home game of the regular season by putting up 13 goals on the board, over the Barrie Colts, which scored only four times.
Just over three minutes into the game the Wolves took a 1-0 lead with a goal by Lucas Di Giantommaso, his first career Ontario Hockey League goal. Musty scored his second goal of the period at the 11:23 mark of the first to put Sudbury in the lead 3-1. While short handed, Dvorsky scored his second goal of the game for the Wolves at the 6:22 mark of the middle frame to increase the Wolves’ lead to 6-1.
At the 10:16 mark of the middle frame, Delic scored his second of the game, continuing the scoring clinic and increasing the Wolves lead to 8-2. Grisolia scored his second goal of the game with 3:53 to go in the second period, making the score 10-3 for Sudbury with one period to go in the game.Just over five and a half minutes into the period Dvorsky also scored a hat trick goal, making the score 11-4 for the hometown Wolves.
