Sudbury gets strong goaltending effort in 6-1 victory over Barrie
The Sudbury Wolves got a much-improved defensive and goaltending effort on the road on Saturday night against Barrie Colts in a 6-1 victory.
Despite the Wolves getting 15 shots in the period to Barrie’s 10, the score remained 1-0 after the first period of the game. With 4:52 remaining in the second, Musty scored his second goal of the game, which also was a power play marker, putting Sudbury back up by two, 3-1. David Goyette would add one more goal for the Wolves, his 37th goal of the season, with just 23 seconds to go, sealing a 6-1 win for the Sudbury Wolves over the Barrie Colts.
