Right now, they’re focused on delivery essential services, so as a result, they are cancelling all regular council and committee meetings for the remainder of the month of October.
The town may still schedule Special Council Meetings as needed to deal with “urgent matters,” like the consideration of the agreement with the Region of Durham related to the use of the former Sunnycrest Nursing home at 1635 Dundas Street as a shelter.
