Garbage is not being collected in Whitby as municipal workers continue to strike. The town has set up waste drop-off locations. One is now open at the Iro

More than 1,000 people used the drop off location at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre the first day it was open on Wednesday.

The waste drop off at McKinney runs Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., although the site is closed between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. due to school dismissal time.What You Need To Know When Visiting: You must be a Whitby resident. Please ensure you have proof of address ready upon arrival.Please put all garbage and green bin organic material together in regular garbage bags.
