Campbell River RCMP is looking for a man named Drake who is wanted on an unendorsed warrant in connection with a violent assault. B.C.’s online court services shows he has charges for forcible entry, unlawful confinement or imprisonment, assault by choking, assault with a weapon, uttering threats (two counts), uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, mischief $5,000 or under, and breach of undertaking. Maury Tyre with Campbell River RCMP says Drake is considered a violent individual and people are advised not to approach him. “Drake does have ties in the Campbell River area and we are actively seeking him in this area, but it’s also possible he may have contacts in other areas on Vancouver Island and may be seeking to avoid his warrant and avoid seeing police by going to different locations where he may know other people.” “We need to see Mr. Drake, we need to deal with these warrants and ensure he isn’t endangering anyone else.”Campbell River RCMP can be reached at 250-286-6221
