Justice Minister Arif Virani has deleted a video he posted online about the government’s capital gains changes the Conservatives alleged was “riddled with misinformation.” The minister’s office said the video — posted on Monday — was removed because it required additional context, but accused the Conservatives of peddling disinformation about the tax change, most notably by claiming it would it would disproportionately impact middle- and lower-income Canadians.
