The Victoria Conservatory of Music is expanding their services, opening a new Centre for Music Therapy and Wellness.
, which is housed in the conservatory’s Johnson Street location, will offer a broad range of services and programs, expanding access to essential music therapy services through the addition of Adaptive Learning, and providing innovative Music Wellness activities that promote healthy and active living for adults of all ages, across the community.
“It’s using music as a therapeutic tool to reach, and help to establish connection, and help people experiencing all types of challenges – be it physical, mental, developmental, end of life.”The conservatory currently has five therapists who create individualized programs to help clients of all ages use music to heal, learn and grow.
