START AREA:• Georgia, from the Causeway to Pender: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.• Beach Ave, from Denman to Jervis: 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.• Burrard St., Davie to the Burrard Bridge: 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.• Burrard Street, Bridge to West 3rd: 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.• Fir St, W 3rd Ave to W 4th Ave: 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.• Cambie Bridge, Pacific Ave Exit ramp: 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.• West 3rd Ave, 2nd Ave to Columbia: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.• 6th Ave., from Columbia to Quebec: 8:30 a.m. 1 p.m.
West Coast Express will be running one train on race day. It will depart Mission at 7 a.m.., arriving at Waterfront Station at 08:15 a.m. The train will then depart Waterfront at 1 p.m. and arrive in Mission at 2:15 p.m. Coast Mountain Bus will have a number of reroutes in effect, taking the buses away from Georgia between Pender and Richards, the West End, Granville Street downtown, Burrard Bridge, Cambie Bridge and 2nd Avenue in Kitsilano. Buses that normally use Georgia will travel along Pender between Cardero and Richards. Full details on the reroutes may be found online at translink.ca/alerts.
West Vancouver Blue Bus will also operate the usual Sunday schedule, but add service between West Van and downtown before and after the run. Those coming on SkyTrain can purchase two tickets at the station in the morning when they’re coming in and saving one of those tickets for the trip home.
