Overall, there are 28 active wildfires in Ontario’s northeast region

Both are southwest of North Bay and are 0.1 hectares in size.

“The fire hazard is low to moderate across the Northeast Region,” said Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services in a news release. “There is an area with a high fire hazard around Espanola, Greater Sudbury and Parry Sound.”Northeast Fire RegionTwo new wildland fires were confirmed in the Northeast Region by early evening on Monday, September 2:
