A tragic hit-and-run incident in Surrey, British Columbia, claimed the life of a pedestrian. Two men have now been held accountable for their involvement.
Two men have pleaded guilty for their roles in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Surrey, British Columbia, last year. Police say Gaganpreet Singh and Jagdeep Singh were two of the three occupants in a red Ford Mustang that struck a male pedestrian in the early morning hours of January 27, 2024. Officers located both the vehicle and the pedestrian several blocks from the reported location of the hit-and-run. Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gaganpreet Singh and Jagdeep Singh both pleaded guilty to charges of dangerous operation of a conveyance, failure to stop after an accident involving a person, and interference with a dead body.The fate of the third occupant of the vehicle, who was also apprehended following the crash, has not been made public.
