IDA Merrett’s and Group Health Centre Pharmacies say it's in response to the ongoing healthcare crisis

As 10,000 Saultites lose access to Group Health Centre's family doctors this week, a couple of local pharmacies have announced free virtual doctor service.

“Our mission is to ensure that every member of the Sault Ste. Marie community has access to essential healthcare services,” said IDA Merrett’s and Group Health Centre Pharmacies in a news release. “We aim to alleviate the burden on our healthcare system and provide our patients with the support they require to reduce emergency room wait times and the stress of not having access to a primary care provider.”For more information or to schedule an appointment contact one of the two locations:“In working together, we can continue to advocate for the health of all members of our community,” the news release added.
