Two people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a brutal attack on a man in his Preston home
, said: “This was a shocking and brutal attack where a man has been seriously assaulted inside his own home.“We have made two arrests but would encourage anyone who can help with our investigation to get in touch.
“Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the Beech Terrace area around the time of the attack? You may be able to help us. “At this stage we are treating the offence as a targeted attack, however, we want to reassure residents and patrols have been increased.”
