ICYMI: Probe into serious assault on woman in Kirkintilloch sees two teenagers charged.
Two teenagers have been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault on a woman in Kirkintilloch.
The incident is alleged to have happened around 11.55pm on Thursday, July 21, at Townhead in the town. A 41-year-old woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a serious injury. Her current condition is unknown.Police Scotland have issued a statement confirming that two teens have been charged in relation.
The statement reads: "Two males, 17 and 16, have been charged with a number of offences and are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date".
