The remaining board of the Trudeau Foundation is launching an investigation into a $200,000 donation tied to the Chinese government.
The board members, CEO and others who left the foundation cited politicization over the controversial donation on Tuesday when they announced they would be stepping down.

The newspaper reported some board members wanted an independent investigation of the donation and had resigned over the issue.
