Tottenham ‘on verge’ of reaching ‘full agreement’ to sign defender – ‘medical expected in 48 hours’Date published: Thursday 14th July 2022 5:49 -According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur are ‘on the verge’ of reaching a ‘full agreement’ with Middlesbrough over the signing of Djed Spence.
England U21 international Spence has been with Middlesbrough since 2018 but he spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest.The right-back was involved in eight goals last term. He helped Forest earn promotion to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs. There is said to have been a ‘breakthrough’ in talks between Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, Middlesbrough owner Steve Gibson and Spence’s agent Scott Smith.Elsewhere,this summer amid interest from Everton and Napoli.
Following spells in South Korea and China, Min-jae signed for Fenerbache ahead of the 2021/22 campaign for around €3m.
