Scotia Plaza 's owners, KingSett Capital, have announced plans to partner with restaurateur and caterer Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality to transform the top floor of the iconic office tower into what is promising to be one of the city's premiere event spaces.
The conversion will see O&B manage and operate the new space, which will include a 10,000-square-foot meeting and event area available to rent out, as well as an equally-sized amenity area with panoramic city views that will be exclusively for use by tenants of the office building. While just about anyone will be able to rent out this space on the northern half of the floor, the southern half — offering views south towards the lake — will only be available to tenants of Scotia Plaza.
"From 0km food delivery to boardrooms for lunch-and-learns to full-service catering for cocktail receptions, this partnership represents real estate as a service," added Oliver.
