A seaside accommodation in Tofino has been named the best resort in Canada and the U.S., according to travel magazine Conde Nast Traveller.
The best resorts in the world: 2024 Readers’ Choice AwardsConde Nast’s readers choice awards are based on the submissions of more than 500,000 people, and the Wickaninnish Inn was just one of two Canadian resorts to make the list, with the other being the Cabot Cape Breton in Iverness, NS, which landed in fifth place.describes itself as “immersive and captivating,” blending luxury with the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island.

Meanwhile, the Wickaninnish Inn was recognized in another prestigious list this year, Michelin’s first-ever hotel guide.” hotels, with 33 hotels across Canada making the cut.The Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge along western Vancouver Island was dubbed a “3 Key” hotel, the top category, while the Wickaninnish Inn was named a “2 Key hotel.” Meanwhile the Fairmont Empress Hotel and the Magnolia Hotel & Spa were both dubbed “1 Key” hotels.
