Combined AL.com reports Alabama’s leading scorer and Auburn’s leading scorer were both named to the All-SEC first team by league’s coaches, as announced Monday.
Auburn had several other honors. Jaylin Williams was named to the All-SEC second team for the second time in his career. Broome was also named to the All-Defensive team, the fifth Auburn player ever to receive that award. Per UA Athletics, Sears is one of two Division I players to produce 650 points, 125 assists, 120 rebounds and 75 three-pointers. KenPom’s player of the year rankings place Sears 10th along with North Carolina’s RJ Davis and Houston’s Jamal Shead.
