Soteldo, a Venezuelan international, has been described as being “a challenge” in the Reds’ locker room. He reportedly told some media in South America in the summer that he was unhappy in Toronto and wanted to return to Brazil to play, though he later said that media report was taken out of contest. If TFC management was able to move Soteldo and/or Altidore, they would be able to bring in a couple more high profile players. Calls to the TFC front office on Monday were not returned.
