The aggressive fundraising and spending of the Democratic presidential hopefuls — in one chart:

As the 2020 White House race sparks massive fundraising and spending by a crowded Democratic field, every campaign’s financial situation is being closely watched as a measure of its viability.

Front-runner Joe Biden only ranks fifth in fundraising, but his team recently emphasized in an email to supporters that the former vice president’s campaign “raised more per day than any other presidential campaign” in this year’s second quarter. Biden was relatively late in officially entering the 2020 race, announcing his run on April 25, or almost a third of the way into the second quarter.

If you want to know where all 25 Democratic contenders stand in their fundraising and spending, we’ve got you covered in the table. It shows how much each candidate had in the bank as of June 30, as well as burn rates, which refers to the percentage of money raised that already has been spent. While Swalwell was the first to exit the primary contest, he doesn’t top the Democratic field when it comes to the least cash on hand or the highest burn rate.

In a RealClearPolitics average of polls as of Friday, Biden has support of 32%, ahead of Sanders at 16%, Warren at 15%, Kamala Harris at 11%, Pete Buttigieg at 6% and Beto O’Rourke at 3%. All of the other candidates are at less than 2% in the average of polls.
