24 teams from across northwest B.C. came dressed as a song
Every year in February, female teams from Terrace, Kitimat and Prince Rupert come together to the rink dressed to a theme as they play against one another in a bonspiel, a dutch term for a curling tournament typically held on the weekend that consists of several games. The theme this year was"come as a song.
This year's winner of the A Event, sponsored by Munson Enterprises, was the Hannah Copeland rink from Terrace over Chery Wyatt. The game was close to the wire, being decided by the last rock with a final score of 8-6.
