MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Montgomery police say a foot pursuit Monday afternoon resulted in gunfire and an arrest. Maj. Saba Coleman said police responded to a call about a suspicious person in the 3800 block of East South Boulevard shortly before 4 p.m. She said the person ran away, leading police on a foot chase.The suspect was caught in the area of the Eastern Boulevard service road near Richard Road. Police later identified him as 19-year-old Savion German.German was charged with attempted murder, unlawful breaking and entering into a vehicle and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling.
