Basketball squad kicks off the 2023 season on Jan. 7

The Sudbury Five have signed three players in advance of the 2023 season, which launches on Jan. 7 in a match against the Oakland County Pharoahs.

“Standing 6-2, the Toronto native played at both youth and senior levels for the Canada Men’s National Basketball Team and won three bronze medals for Canada as a youth,” the team said in a news release. “Notice played college basketball for the University of South Carolina from 2013-2017, where he continues to remain the team’s all-time leader in games played , and second in three-point field goals made .
