According to Saanich Fire, everyone was evacuated safely and no one was injured.
Structure fire on corner of Quadra and Palmer Street occurred Wednesday, Nov. 20 and Saanich Fire was called at around 12:30 a.m.
Three engine companies, a ladder company and a rescue company were on hand to aid crews in containing the blaze. With support from Victorira Fire, Saanich Fire crews fought the fire in defensive mode from 12:30 a.m. until around 7:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.Access is closed between Lodge Avenue and Palmer Road and Saanich Police say to avoid the area.
